Vintage

One of my favourite hobbies is going to antique shops and searching for some amazing vintage pieces, for example I found a pair of beautiful earrings and a china perfume bottle for only  £20. I also love looking in home wear shops with sales on for some amazing vintage style pieces, some of which are: B&M and Pondent home. But my favourite part is decorating my home with them!!! 

I love how it makes your house look very homely and cosy as well as stylish because if you do it right you can mix it with modern pieces  making  it look very chic and retro. One of the things I really love about vintage is the candles you can get. They can make any room more warm, bright and smell amazing all at the same time by just lighting a little bit of thread. Which is amazing when you think about it.

The reason I love vintage so much is because of my love for history, my dream job is to be a historian. My favourite era is the Victorian period as it was the era when people discovered and invented a lot of things we have today, as well as wearing beautiful dresses and the men being so caring and kind.

But I think the main reason I love vintage so much because it means a lot to me as it reminds us of people and family from that era, what they did, how they dressed and what they owned. I know this was a long post and if your reading this give yourself 5 Aimarie points.

Welcome to my blog!!! This is the first blog post I have ever written, I'm not to sure what to write but I guess I will introduce you to my blog:. This will be a fashion, makeup, photography and vintage blog. (All the things I love.) You probably want to know why I started my blog right? Well if you do then I was caused by watching lots (a un healthy amount) of YouTube videos and also reading (again to many for my own good) blog post's which inspired me to start my own blog and share my own life with you guy (Aimarie's if you will)
