Welcome to October and with a new month there's a new book; How to survive a heat wave. A fiction by Maggie O'Farrel set in July 1976 in London during the heatwave when Robert Riordan tells his wife Gretta he's going to the corner shop and doesn't come back.
Obviously with it being the start of a month I haven't read very far into the book only reading 63 pages but so far those 63 pages have been jam packed, the book is written in such a real way it's like you're there with them experiencing the story. Maggie O'Farrel writes with so much talent it's addictive and I can't put it down because I just want to know what happens next.
The story dips in and out of different members of the families lives all experiencing their own problems in their lives but to find out what really you'll have to read it just like me.

Benefit's big easy review
Quite a while ago benefit came out with the big easy which I bought when it first came out and was very impressed with! As you can expect from the name this product is very easy to use with it applying in a liquid formula and then setting as matte powder meaning it's a product you don't need to set. So if you're new to makeup you wouldn't need to go out and buy other products, I think it would also be perfect for someone who's new to makeup because instead of being a foundation it's a "bb balm" so just like a bb cream it will include a moisturiser and primer again making it a very simple product.
Although I like the formula, finish and packaging of it, with it being a very typical Benefit packaging and reminding me of a circus, I would say the only issue with it would be the small shade range which although isn't a problem for me but could be for a lot of people with it only going up to deep beige which in my opinion is only a tanned shade and not one for someone with a darker skin tone. So would be the only thing I would change about the product which may be something they will bring out in the future but being as it has already been out along time I doubt they will. But if you have lightish skin I definitely recommend you try this product out !

Benefit's roller lash
Benefit's roller lash has a lot of praise online with everyone and their dog talking about it, but, I can completely understand why. Although not being the cheapest mascara on the market being £19.50 it's one of the best mascaras I have tired! The whole idea of roller lash is keeping and putting a curl in your lashes so you don't have to use a eyelash curler and although curling my eyelashes is something I have to do out of habit it definitely helps to hold the curl a lot better than any others.I already knew it would quite good from using past benefit mascaras, they're real was one of my favorites, but I had no idea how good it really is! I'll go as far to say it's my altime favorite mascara which if you know me you know means alot as I have a lot of them; with just two coats it gives me the finish that three different mascara gave me in the past. Which means that not only do my eyelashes look better but it takes me half as long to do and is definitely a welcomed new member to makeup! If you haven't tried roller lash and you have the money to send on a mascara i definitely recommend it especially if you a mascara junkie like me!
